Today, Thursday 7 july 2016, my daughter Joëlle and I were invited for a private visit of the Beat Generation exhibition at Centre Pompidou ( Beaubourg). Very interesting and well-structured exhibition; although the Beat Generation started at the end of the 1940s it went on until the end of the 1960s that is why I remember many things.
From the highest floor of the museum you have an almost 360° view of Paris.
Joëlle took a picture of me with la tour Saint Jacques at the right on the picture as a wink to my walk from Tours to Saint-Jacques-de-Compostelle in 1994! There is also an amazing view of the Sacré Coeur Montmartre
